Registration for Georgia AAU Boys' Basketball District Qualifying Tournaments begins Wednesday, February 1, 2012.

2012 Betty Lowe Memorial Scholarship Awards

Georgia AAU is proud to announce the establishment of six (6) $500 scholarships to be awarded each year to six high school graduates to be used for higher education.

The 2012 Scholarship Awards will be announced by Stan Lewis, chair of the scholarship committee, at the May 20, 2012 bi-annual meeting.

Nominations must be made by April 20, 2012.

Georgia AAU Sports Seminar & Sports Meetings -- Mark Your Calendars!

The Georgia AAU Office is presenting a sports seminar on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Smyrna Community Center (200 Village Green Circle SE, Smyrna, Georgia 30080). This sports seminar, which will be held in conjunction with individual sports meetings, will be a day of information (questions and answers). Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Topics to be discussed are: memberships, sanctions, insurance certificates, club files (log-ins and passwords), and 501(c)(3) non-profit membership.

There will be presenters from the AAU National Office: don't miss out on this great opportunity!

Registration is required, but don't worry, registration is FREE.
